Trust Development

Bradford Diocesan Academies Trust is a large cross-phase MAT in Bradford. As of November 2017, we will have 14 open academies – 4 secondary schools and 10 primary academies. We will provide education for over 7,664 students and will employ 1269 staff with a budget of £47m.

We work with schools of all different contexts and backgrounds including good and outstanding schools and we support schools in special measures. We recognise that each of our schools is unique and value their differences and the communities they represent.

We expect our MAT to grow over the next few years although growth will only be at a pace which is sustainable and manageable for the Trust. We do not want to grow too big too quickly.
