The Classroom Partnership and the Bradford Diocesan Academies Trust (BDAT) have begun working together to create a supply pool for inspirational classroom practitioners. The two organisations are combining to help supply BDAT academies with a range of education professionals including teaching assistants, teachers and SEN specialists.
The supply pool has been created to improve the experience of supply staffing for both schools and candidates. The academies involved in the scheme will benefit by having the best education candidates in the area available to them whilst the classroom practitioners will have access to a wider range of positions at high-performing academies.
Speaking about the organisation, The Classroom Partnership director, Stephen Emsley said, “The Classroom Partnership works with talented education staff every day. By working with BDAT we are now able to present and place these candidates to a range of academies that are looking for the best available staff.”
A spokesperson for BDAT said “We’re excited to begin working with The Classroom Partnership on the BDAT supply pool. Our academies require the best staffing solutions and by creating this pool we are able to work closely with the agency to attract the best educations staff.”
Teachers applying to the join the pool are encouraged to refer a friend or colleague. For every person that is referred, candidates will receive £100 each. More information on the referral scheme can be found on The Classroom Partnership website. There are currently ten schools that are part of the BDAT organisation including Buttershaw Academy and Immanuel College.
