Trust Development

Bradford Diocesan Academies Trust is a large cross-phase MAT in Bradford. As of November 2018, we will have 17 open academies – 4 secondary schools and 13 primary academies. We will provide education for over 7,929 students and will employ 1361 staff with a budget of £54m.

We work with schools of all different contexts and backgrounds including good and outstanding schools and we support schools in special measures. We recognise that each of our schools is unique and value their differences and the communities they represent.

As a MAT we have grown quite quickly in recent years. 2018-19 is therefore a year of consolidation as our schools settle and become secure within the Trust and continue to get to know each other within the BDAT family.  Growth will only be considered on a case-by-case basis at this time, as we do not want to grow too quickly.
