BDAT runs an exciting CPD programme across both our primary and secondary phases.

Primary CPD opportunities 2019-20:

For the second year we are pleased to publish our exciting BDAT CPD Moderation and Network programme for the primary phase in a handy downloadable booklet. Covering a wide range of subject networks including Attendance, SIAMS, Pupil Premium and SEND, plus subject networks in areas including Maths, English, Year 6 and EYFS, there really is something for everyone in our BDAT primary schools to access. We also include details of NQT programmes designed for our Early Careers teachers who are new to the Trust.

The 2019-2020 booklet can be accessed here

The aims of the BDAT CPD Moderation and Network Programme are:

  • To support colleagues working within our academies to broaden and enhance their skills and knowledge at all stages of their career progression.
  • To support colleagues in providing the best possible outcomes for our children.

We strive to offer high quality CPD provided by members of the central team, school leaders as well as external partners, and encourage collaboration and the sharing of best practice across the Trust.

Do you work in BDAT Secondary phase?
The BDAT Secondary phase also runs an number of workstreams and subject networks covering areas such as Assessment, Attendance, Talent Management, Student Experience and Teaching and Learning, plus a range of core subject networks. We hope to produce a similar booklet later in the Autumn. However, if you would like to find out more or enquire about something specific, please email info@bdat-academies.org

Some strange news. Just become a Head as of today. Would love to have advice/sounding boards? Any recommendations or people willing to help? Hope I can give back as much as I receive! #slt #edutwitter

Like many we had made plans to ensure ours families had access to food over the hols as it was the right decision. Pleased the govt is supporting us to make this happen. When this is all over these small gestures to some will have made a big difference to those who most need it
