Buttershaw Business & Enterprise College is an improving school.  It is an ambitious, community-focused academy of just over 1400 students serving an area of social deprivation on the southern edge of Bradford and seven miles from Leeds.  BBEC is popular locally and is rapidly becoming the school of choice for the community of Buttershaw; for the last three years the school has been over-subscribed in Year 7.

BBEC are looking for an ambitious teacher of English who:

  • has successful experience of teaching English in a secondary school
  • has experience of quality assuring teaching and learning.
  • has successful experience of assessment criteria to track progress and ensure effective intervention.
  • has a passion for education and a deep-felt desire to make a difference for young people.
