In having Trust-wide policies and procedures, BDAT strives to have policies which are consistent and aligned with the Trust’s Christian ethos and values. As part of our focus on diversity and inclusion, BDAT pledges that our policies will seek to promote equity, fairness, and respect for all staff and students. Our policies reflect the BDAT values of inclusion, compassion, aspiration, resilience, and excellence. By working closely with a range of stakeholders, we have ensured that BDAT’s policies do not unlawfully discriminate against anybody.
BDAT has a rigorous policy approval cycle, and reviews policies in consultation with expert BDAT Leads, the recognised Trade Unions, HR advisors, and Trustees. The Trust also welcomes feedback from all academies, therefore BDAT takes the view that all Trust policies are live working documents and as such may be updated at any time.
Please find below BDAT’s HR, business, and finance related policies. These policies apply to all existing BDAT staff. For new staff TUPEing into the Trust, their existing terms and conditions will apply at the point of conversion.
