News Belle Vue Girls’ Academy students celebrate fantastic GCSE results

Belle Vue Girls’ Academy is celebrating students who have achieved their GCSE results today.

The Academy, which is part of Bradford Diocesan Academies Trust, is pleased to share another year of excellent results achieved by its students, despite the challenges of the pandemic. Students have demonstrated their commitment and dedication to learning over the last two years.

Many Belle Vue girls are now looking forward to progressing to the next stage in their education, with the majority remaining at the Academy to take A Levels and other qualifications.

While all pupils have achieved impressive results, there are some exceptional individual achievements. These include:

• Sanaa Ahmed who achieved a stunning set of ten GCSEs all at Grade 9, including Pure Maths.
• Aaliya Ali, Abroo Shirazi and Sanaa Zahir who all achieved an amazing set of nine GCSES at Grades 8 and Grade 9

Mr Steve Mulligan, Headteacher at Belle Vue Girls’ Academy, said:

“I could not be prouder of this year group. Despite the fact that they have faced unprecedented disruption to their education over the last few years, they have demonstrated incredible resilience and shown tremendous determination.

“They truly deserve the life-changing grades that they have received today, and we cannot wait to welcome them back to begin the next stage of their education in our Sixth Form in September!”
