Huge congratulations to all the winners of the World Book Day Competition. The first-place entries received a certificate and a £30 book voucher. The second-place entries received a certificate and a £15 book token. Thank you to all who entered, we received some fabulous entries, which made the judges decision very difficult!
The winning entry of the Primary Competition is from a Year 6 pupil from Clayton St Johns CE Primary Schools with their excellent book review of Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets.
In second place for the primary entries is this wonderful Iron Man book cover from a Year 2 pupil at St Philips CE Primary School. There was clearly a lot of time and effort put into this creative design.
Now for the secondary competition:
In first place we have this book cover of Wuthering Heights from a pupil at Belle Vue Girls’ Academy. The judges loved the fact that you could tell which book it was without knowing!
In second place is this wonderful book cover from a pupil at Belle Vue Girls’ Academy. The judges were impressed by the amount of detail that had gone into this entry.
