Following over 12 months of collaborative working and consultation, 2023 heralds a new partnership for BDAT and Bradford Girls’ Grammar school following confirmation that the Secretary of State for Education has agreed the merger as of January 1st this year.
The two Academy Trust’s staff and students have spent a number of terms testing joint ways of working to ensure that the partnership would drive forward continued education improvements within the all-through school in line with the values and visions of both parties and the communities they serve.
The new partnership will mean Bradford Girls’ Grammar School becomes the 19th Academy to join the well-established BDAT family of schools. The school will join the existing group of four secondary academies and fourteen primary academies serving over 10,000 students across the Bradford local authority district.
