News Belle Vue Girls’ Academy students shine in GCSE success

Students at Belle Vue Girls’ Academy (BVGA), part of the Bradford Diocesan Academies Trust, are today celebrating impressive GCSE results after two years of hard work and dedication to learning.

The Academy is pleased to mark another year of great results, with a record-breaking number of students achieving grade 5+ in English and Maths, and more than 20 per cent of grades at 9, 8 and 7. Students are now looking forward to progressing to Post-16 education, with the majority of students staying at Belle Vue to study A Level and Applied General Qualifications in the Sixth Form.

While all pupils have done incredibly well, there are some notable individual achievements. These include:

• Alaina Ahmad achieved eight grade 9s and one grade 8
• Saliha Jangir achieved seven grade 9s, one grade 8 and one grade 7
• Hajra Amjed achieved six grade 9s, two grade 8s, two grade 7s
• Imani Ali achieved six grade 9s, two grade 8s, one grade 7
• Sayeeda Aliba achieved six grade 9s, two grade 8s
• Ieeman Fatima achieved six grade 9s, two grade 8s, one grade 6
• Esha Din Arab achieved five grade 9s and three grade 7s
• Saddafa Omar achieved four grade 9s, three grade 8s and one grade 7
• Sajidah Samad achieved four grade 9s, two grade 8s, and two grade 7s

“We could not be any prouder of the achievements of this year’s GCSE cohort. Our students have achieved an excellent set of results that demonstrate their commitment and determination; they truly deserve their success. We are now looking forward to seeing our students progress with confidence to the next exciting stage in their education.”
