News St John’s CE Primary School Thanks Robertson Yorkshire & East Midlands for Delivering Safer, Smarter Access for Families

St John’s CE Primary School is delighted to announce the completion of groundworks carried out by Robertson Yorkshire & East Midlands, which have enabled the transformation of our playground into a temporary car park during morning and afternoon school runs.

This project has already made a meaningful difference to our school community, easing traffic congestion on the main road, improving safety for our pupils, and contributing to a cleaner, healthier environment.

Positive Impact at a Glance:

  • 🚗 Smoother Traffic Flow: Parents and carers now have a designated space to park during drop-off and pick-up times, reducing pressure on the surrounding roads.
  • 🛡️ Safer Access for Children: The new arrangement provides a secure, off-road location for families, helping to keep children safe from roadside hazards.
  • 🌿 Environmental Improvements: Fewer idling vehicles near the school have led to improved air quality and a calmer atmosphere during busy periods.

We are incredibly grateful to Robertson Yorkshire & East Midlands for their professionalism, efficiency, and commitment to supporting our school’s vision. Their team completed the works ahead of schedule, ensuring the car park was ready for the start of the autumn term.

Andrew Knight, Headteacher at St John’s CE Primary School said:
